How do I book a bus?

Ally Bus has a 24/7 support team that answers calls every hour of the day. When you’re ready to book, all you have to do is call 1-866-625-7682; a reservation specialist will quickly gather the details of your trip and find the solution that best suits you.

What information do I need to provide when booking?

Simply provide your name, contact information, date(s) of your trip, drop off and pick up locations, number of passengers, preferred amenities, and method of payment.

How much does a rental cost?

Bus rental costs vary according to a number of factors, the most important being distance, starting and ending location, length of trip, number of passengers, and bus availability. When you call in to book, you’re given a free quote so you can discuss what exactly you’re paying for with your reservation specialist.

What is a charter bus equipped with?

Charter buses may come fitted with a number of exclusive amenities, including flat-screen televisions, DVD players, restrooms, luggage bays, WiFi, power outlets, air conditioning, reclining seats, and a PA system.

Can I rent a bus with no driver?

This is a common request, but unfortunately, the answer is no. Every bus that we book for clients comes equipped with its own driver. We only contract the most experienced drivers, and every driver must pass a comprehensive background test before getting behind the wheel.

Can I request a specific bus model?

When you call us, you are able to inquire about a specific model you may be looking for. While we can try our best to find and reserve it, we cannot guarantee that a specific model will be available when your trip begins.

Are food and drink allowed on the bus?

Yes, you are allowed to consume food and beverages on your bus. In some areas, you may even be able to consume alcoholic drinks while riding. Check the local laws in your town and confirm with your driver before bringing them on board. Clients may also be charged a $250 cleaning fee if food and beverages are not cleaned up after consumption.

Am I responsible for my driver on long-distance trips?

Although the driver’s compensation is covered by your trip costs, you are still responsible for their lodging during overnight trips. Because they are paid on a contractual basis, it’s also recommended that you tip them 10%-20% of your total cost for their services.

How far in advance should I book my bus?

There isn’t a required amount of time, but it’s recommended that you book 3 to 6 months in advance to guarantee the lowest rates. Summertime is the peak season for bus rentals, so it’s important that you book in advance when you’ve got a trip planned for summer months.

Do I need to pay the full cost upfront?

When booking your trip, you’re required to pay 10% of the cost upfront to secure the reservation.

Am I only allowed to book one bus at a time?

You’re able to book as many buses as you need when you call a reservation specialist. Ally bus has access to a fleet of hundreds of buses, so there’s no limit on how many we can book for you.
